Title:                        Production Line Assembly Operator

Department:           Claiborne Manufacturing

Location:                 Claiborne Avenue

Wage Category:     Non-Exempt

Report To:              Production Supervisor

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assemble products in proper sequence
• Inspect products for flaws
• Notify supervisor of flaws and make necessary corrections
• Place and stack products on assembly conveyors and tables
• Stack finished products into cartons as not to damage products
• Ensure product fits tightly in carton and add packing as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is helpful but not required
• Background in production procedures is helpful but not required
• Ability to sit in one location for an extended period with frequent standing and light to moderate lifting
• Ability to use label dispenser
• Must be legally blind
